In order to track leads that come from adverts, you must ensure that there is a tracking source added to the URL. To do this;

Adwords

Google Display Ads

  • Follow the instructions above for Google Display Network Adverts.

Bing Adverts

Yahoo Adverts

Facebook Adverts

LinkedIn Adverts

  • At the time of writing, LinkedIn does not provide auto tagging.
  • You can track leads by manually setting your advert destination URL to www.yoururl.com/?utm_source=linkedin

Twitter Adverts

  • At the time of writing, Twitter does not provide auto tagging.
  • You can track leads by manually setting your advert destination URL to www.yoururl.com/?utm_source=twitter

Once you have completed tagging any ads that you are running, the destination URL should be www.yoururl.com/?utm_source=adsource or similar.
