Tracking Sales (Manual)

Tracking a sale value for each lead allows Newlytics to calculate the marketing ROI. You can manually track every sale that happens;

  • Visit the Newlytics leads page.
  • Scroll to the lead you wish to indicate as a sale, or use the search to find it.
  • Click the convert button for the lead.
  • Enter a sale value (in the campaign currency).
  • Click convert.

Tracking Sales (Auto)

You can set Newlytics to automatically track sales based on an average value. Once you have done this, each lead that is captured is automatically attributed a sale value based on the average. This saves you the time of manually converting every lead, but is not as accurate (since it works on averages).

For example;

  • You know that 10% of leads you receive are converted to sales.
  • On average, each sale is valued at $1500.
  • Once set up, Newlytics will attribute $150 to every lead. On average, this amounts to an equivalent sale total.

To set up auto conversions;

  • Visit the campaign lead page.
  • Click the settings button at the bottom right.
  • Scroll down the settings options and click on the average value tab.
  • Enter a conversion percent and conversion value.

All subsequent leads are automatically converted. Previous leads are not converted.
